well the first speech was on a person in our class, we were assigned partners and had to make an interesting speech about them.......dont get me wrong, i am GREAT at writing stories and such, but getting up in front of people just scares me to death......alot of my classmates dont understand it, for the simple fact that i am kind of the "class clown" the next speech that we have to give in 2 weeks is to be an informative one (i picked how alcohol affects the whole family) seeing as my dad is an alcoholic, i think as long as i pick something i know about, it shouldnt be too hard......muahzzzzzz

I can totally understand how you can be dynamic and active (class clown) yet get filled with anxiety on the spot. It's different...you can hide behind comedy a bit. You dart in, take a joke, and then back out... only offering antics when you feel the time is right. Giving speeches is not like that... it's making yourself a target and just standing there through it. I give you props for doing it anyways and doing it well.
On the other side of the spectrum, I sorta wish had seen my parents drunk or buzzed at least once growing up.

If I remember right, As Bachman he didn't commit the same mistake that he seems to under his moniker. For me I get so into his set up. His character development is amazing.
