Actually, I left yesterday at sunrise... but it was a pretty long drive. I'll be back up there quite soon, but for now I'm relaxing at home while my arms recover from ripping up the northern plains. For SCIENCE!

Plus...

Silliness with gas-flare.

Hahaha, that's a clever trick! I had to look twice before I realized the truck was not, in fact, on fire :P

Admittedly this isn't a great photo, but I did just get these sweet sunglasses...

So I'd like to thank @rambo @missy and @lyxzen for so many excellent topics. I want to get to 'Facts about your city' but I'm about 1,000 miles from home right now and I think it needs a couple pics. So instead...

As you may have guessed my nickname is Satan.

After a long, irritating, and financially draining off season I'm ready to go sciencing again!! Plus I got these sweet new Julbo glacier glasses! Watch out fields of North Dakota: me, my shovel, and my trowel are coming!!

@calvinwinter quite literally, in some cases (I had to move some cow shit out of my way to dig a hole this morning)!
darklordsatan16:
... And today I used cow shit to fill in holes after all my back-dirt blew away in the ridiculous wind we're getting up here.

It's certainly spring in Colorado. Monday was 70 degrees (f), Tuesday was 75. Had a couple of nice bike rides on my lunch break.

Wednesday was 30 degrees, with two feet of snow in twelve hours. The roads were a mess, but I did get to test out since free Telli skis I picked up a while back.

Thursday was 55 degrees with rivers on

Hope everyone's been having an excellent green beer/vomit day! Had to work myself, and I've another early morning on the morrow, so it's not been my most epic Patty's Day ever but still found time to drink some beer and eat some corned beef. And I continued my tradition by making my famous Guinness bread last night.

@midnightsun It's from 'The Rustic Table' which is one of my favorite cookbooks. It's conveniently available on Google books, I notice.

Oooh, thanks for the tip buddy!!

I've been very interested to see what everyone's response to this blog homework has been, thanks to @missy and @rambo for the idea.

I hope to be remembered for my writing, most of which has yet to be accomplished. I am in the process of writing a series of (if I say so myself) epic fantasy novels, which will hopefully one day progress to publication.

Not often ppl work as their passion, so happy for you! And sounds like ppl will have no problem remembering you for that✨
darklordsatan16:
@midnightsun, I do hope so. If nothing else I'll always be the crazy dude with the fu-man-chu who raged through the woods on many a salvage archeology job!

Hello beautiful people of SG land! First off, I'd like to say a big thank you to ask my lovely followers and everyone who's given love to ask the ridiculous shit I keep posting here!! I'm not entirely sure what you all are enjoying, but I appreciate it-let me know if there's something you like, I'll try to give you more of it!

First off,...

@cattleya most of my favorite broadcasters don't have a 'scripted' plan when they go on, but I'm prone to stage fright myself (it pairs will with my more generalized social anxiety) so I understand being leary of it. You should check it out from the other side, though. It's the best way to hang out with people but still be anti-social, lol!

Lol sounds like it. I've been watching some.of the other hopefuls to get a feel for it

So I'm working on a nice lingering neck injury, I suspect a damaged disk, and some blog HW seemed just the thing to take my mind off the searing pain... Thanks to @missy and @rambo for so many choices. This seemed a good place to start.

I've seen several of these blog homeworks go up in the days around Valentine's, and while it's great and inspiring to see such wonderful stories happen to great people it can be a bit soul-crushing sometimes as a perpetual single. However, I saw @sarabi_'s pussy the other day and it inspired me.

This lovely fellow is my roommate and general partner in crime Nikolai (well

I'd first like to say, for everyone who is in a fulfilling relationship or otherwise enjoys this holiday, not talking down your buzz at all. Quite the reverse. Have a great day!

To others, though, this isn't always the happiest day. I know that I rarely (if ever) find myself with reason to celebrate this holiday in the traditional sense. So, I have a different...
