It has been too long since I post a blog homework. I work all day and then just pass out in my hotel...But I digress.
Over the last weeks I have seen a number of these posts and it really made me think about which songs (of the many I love) really speak to the life I live.
There have been quite a number of unexpected obstacles popping up in my life over the past few years, and sometimes I feel that my life can be summed up with these lines by Flogging Molly:
And I will be the first to admit that I have absolutely terrible luck with the ladies (perhaps I should clarify, I general find all the company I need but anytime I find someone I think may be something really special it inevitably ends in disaster), so I always feel a special connection with this Rancid tune:
That said, I do not want to pretend that my life is all that bad. I have long lived my life as an outsider, but largely through my own choices. So really, I try to live my life as The Tossers suggest in their excellent tune Be:
