Drove up to North Dakota in a snow storm on the 18th (after a quick scope with @nebula)
Excavated about 3.5 tons of sediment (Imperial tons, not metric).
Drove through fairly torrential rains to Calgary, by way of Montana. I thoroughly enjoyed Calgary, seems a pretty excellent city. Found myself having breakfast amid the Parade of Wonders assembly. Lots of awesome cosplay, and I also got to harass some celebrities including Voyager's Harry Kim and Cap'n Jack/Malcolm Merlin!

Spent much of the day sampling the region's fine craft beers before the highlight of the trip, the #blackheartburlesque show!!!
Here I am, looking rather stupid (as I do in pictures)-but the ladies look beautiful!!

Yesterday I drove the 1,100 miles back to Boulder, despite running into about 80 miles of white-out blizzard in Wyoming.
Someone was happy to see me!
Now I'm off to attend to business before I get back on the road (for SCIENCE!) tomorrow. Ah, the glamorous life of a contract CRM archaeologist!
