I had my niece and nephew this weekend. It was pretty fun even if I didn't get to go tubing with everybody
Saturday my mom dropped them off and ended up staying for a couple of hours. I asked her what her plans were for the rest of the day, and she said she didn't know. (the whole point of her bringing the kids over was so they would have to be exposed to her the whole time they were there) After another hour or so I look over and it looks like she is falling asleep! All we were doing at the time was watching tv. I ask her again what her plans were and she still didn't know. I told her that the kids and I wanted to hang out... she got soo pissed! She immediately got her things gave the kids a hug and left.

Anyway... the kids and I made some Bananna bread, played with bumpis outside, watched some tv, and goofed around. Also took the kids and Bumpis over to my friend Dave's house to feed his and Lynda's dogs. They were out of town for the weekend. On the was back we stopped at SA to get some milk and also picked up some water balloons for sunday! Treina came over after a bit and I made a pizza and we all watched some movies. I forget what we watched but it was fun to just hang out with the kids without my mom there. Treina left after a while and we all went to sleep.
In the morning, on sunday, I made breakfast for the kids. Eggs and pancakes. good stuff. Dawn called after a bit and wanted to know when she should be there for the waterballoon fight. I told her sometime between 1 and 2pm, and also that Treina may not make it cause of a church pot luck thing. I was filling up some balloons when she arrived with Ian. I should have started filling up those things earlier cause it was taking for ever!! After a while I said fuck it and we started! I think the balloons lasted all of 3 minutes. So we took out the hose, filled up a big plastic bowl and started splashing each other with the bowl and the hose. We also ended up giving Bumpis a bath. She's all pretty and clean smelling now! It was soo much fun! Oni and Dan had a blast! I think Ian had a good time too cause he kept wanting us to splash him with water. It was funny. After the fight we settled down for some grub. I grilled up some dogs and burgers, had some watermellon cut up and that hit the spot! Dawn and I were wiped out! I think we're geting old
After a bit Dawn and Ian left and we had to get ready to go over to my uncles for his 50th b-day party. It was pretty fun but I was tired and already full from the grilling. I didn't eat too much but I did have a piece of cake.
We left there about 9, got home and just relaxed. Treina came over again and we had some icecream and watched Euro Trip with the kids. It was late and the kids wanted to get to bed (coutches) so I burned Treina a couple tiger army discs, and she went home. I went straight to bed!
This morning I made the kids breakfast again and we all just relaxed until mom came over to pick up the kids.

All in all a good weekend with them. good times!
