The Dull

This beast with quick teeth consumes me,
Destroys me with those serrated fangs.
It rips into me and engulfs my heart.
My chest caves in once nothing is left

This beast is a primal predator
Efficient in its want to ruin.
It's want to consume the souls of the joyous
My spirit is broken and the beast takes all

This beast has a severe bite and venomous saliva
Its claws are sharpened for emasculating love
And tattering friendships - this beast is a destroyer of worlds
It feeds on life and leaves the husk of memory

Within its bite is the conquer worm, setting its reigns
Within its venom is pestilence, locus consuming the future
Within its claws is disease; killing loves labor - loves fruit
Within its path is death, a void of loss and despair.
