I just returned from Common Grounds. And let me tell you....It sucked.

Here's why...

First, there was no show tonight... A rare site on a Friday night. It was all on account of the bar moving when it did, and the booking was all off, so no show... DAMN!!

And then there was NOBODY there... only staff. Until 11, then there were a couple of really drunk chicks celebrating one of their birthday's.... So, it was pretty crazy after that...

But, c'mon....I am not going to talk to drunk girls when I'm sober. I don't need any of that. Nobody makes good decisions when they are drunk.... I don't want to be someone's mistake.

Better to be single.... although it sucks to be alone...

Soooo lonely...woe is me....

But, on a good note... Matt, the lead singer of my favorite local band was working the door.. So, I just hung with him. We chatted about what it's like to be on stage singing, to being a fan of someone that you know... We had a blast just standing outside the bar. Plus, I just couldn't leave the guy sitting outside all alone...

So, I just left early and came home... Nothing much for me to do other than that. So here I am.... typing a message on the internet to my friends that I have never met... Wishing I had more of a life to process and spill onto the screen...

But, alas...This is all I have to give. Some sad story, detailing my failed attempt at a decent Friday night..
