well i think that it comes from not expecting too much out of the situations that surround you and really focusing on how good they actually are. things are shitty all the time. you can't escape it. but you can feel good about being able to get through it and when it passes just really appreciate yourself for being strong. easier said than done. but positivity makes the next shitty thing that comes along go a lot smoother. sorry i'm blabbing on haha
