Wow, the last entry I had was in September... guess I have some catching up to do.
Over the course of this last week not only was I on vacation, but I was on vacation in the Arizona Department of Corrections. That's right, I hadn't used my vacation time in over a year and a half, so I decided to visit my older brother who happens to be in the "big house". It was great to see him, cause I hadn't been able to visit him since he's been in there. He's being held in Douglas, AZ, approximately ten miles from the Mexican boarder and let me tell you the best thing about that town is the prison... not joking. Douglas is a complete shit-hole of a town, I feel bad for people who live there. I was glad to see Micheal was doing well, other than the fact that he's locked up.
I was kinda worried that being there might have been like in the movies where people were getting handjobs under the tables and I might get shanked at any moment by some lunatic, but its set up pretty well. They had a whole recreation room with a ton of vending machines and we could go outside too, which was nice. He was happy that Ben and I were able to come down to see him as well as his girlfriend and his two year old son.
All in all I have no regrets going down there because it was worth being able to see my brother and my nephew... and I got to eat at In 'n' Out Burger... which I know doesn't sound like much, but we don't have those here and they're burgers are good.
The rest of the time I had off I didn't really do much, just lounge around for a week. Although, on Saturday I ordered UFC 91... and cried my self to sleep cause Couture lost against Brock Lesnar (I made up that part about crying)
Now, I'm back to work and hating every minute of it. I think I'll update my resume right here on the work computer.
