So last night, I got my face melted by one of the best metal bands to hit the scene in... a long time. Unearth[/B ] that is, to be honest those guys have to be on some list of heros to me. As a guitarist, I just appreciate the mind boggling licks and riffs they conjure up... they rock.
In other news, I'm turning 20 on Friday, but at the same time it also sucks because, my boss conveniently forgot that its my birthday, so I got stuck working during the day shift. I haven't really planned it out yet, but I'm problably going to assemble a crew to go bowling Friday night, most likley the Brunswick lanes at the Westminster mall. So if any of you are intrested to go bowling, just me me up, I have a bunch of coupons to bowl cheap.
Although, I'd have to say that the thing I'm most excited about this weekend this that I'm finally going see one of my favorite bands... of all time... Megadeth!!! Yep, another show this week, I'm super excited because Lamb of God and Opeth are going to be there too. So I'll have seen like 4 of my favorite bands in one week (sweet) and I might catch Dragonforce Sunday as well. I guess all and all this has been a rather good week for me... (knock on wood).
So if any if you wish me a happy birthday that would be grand and if not thats cool too, I mean its not that cool to turn 20 anyways.
Oh and for the record, the Protector was a freakin sweet movie. It was kinda like Kill Bill except that instead of Tony Jaa slicing people to bits, he just broke like every bone in their body... twice. So if any if you have seen Ong-Bak and liked it, go see the Protector.
