Well, got stabbed in the back at work. My trainee/protege got promoted above me somehow. Hmmm... They told me I was too vocal about the improvements that needed to be done, so they decided that I need to take a step back and let the bosses handle the system that is in place. Funny, they have been handling it for 11 years and people are still quitting due to an unhappy work environment. It must be bad is people that have been there for 6 and 7 years are quitting in this economy. But, not my responsibility, apparently.
Still haven't had a chance to drive out and see my friend that moved back from NYC. Maybe when it slows down a little at work. Saw my other friend in BFE a couple of weeks ago. Got kicked out of the only bar for miles. Funny.
Besides that, people are still shady and shitty, But I'm better than that, c'est la vie.
