Hi everyone. Yesterday I found out my dad died. Today I will be leaving town with my family to pick up his body. He was living back where I’m from, in New Orleans, so I might be absent for the next week or so.
I wanted to let you all know because SG has become quite the pillar of support for me, and I’m honestly really struggling with this reality at the moment.
Please send me your kind thoughts. I’m sorry if things will be a little slow with me here. I may not be on much, or I might be on too much; I’m not sure how I’m dealing with this yet. I’m still in shock.

I’m very sorry for your loss. A few years ago I lost my mother, and many people will say whatever they can to help but the truth is, it never gets easier. So don’t worry if time passes and you still feel a great sense of loss. You’re supposed to when we lose people we love. Just honor him by thinking about the happiest memories you have of him and they’ll help a lot when you’re feeling sad. Many prayers for you and your family. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
