Yesterday I was behind the camera for a change. For sometime now I've been trying to talk my best friend into submitting a model application and a Hopeful set. Sadly, mid-shoot our camera died - we pushed through using my iPhone, however.
To be honest, photographing a model is almost as fun as being the model. I'm really happy with the photos we took, and at the very least, they can be used for her application.
This is a little photo I took with the stool I was using to get the best angels for our shoot - during the shoot, she flung her panties towards me and they landed perfectly on the stool, so we had to capture them hanging there. You can also see our dead camera.
Fun fact! This room isn't mine or hers - it's my roommates. We used his room because it matched her aesthetic more, and he wasn't home so it wasn't an issue.
There really are a lot of great photos, and I took two boomerangs and a little goofy video as well.
It was a lot of fun, really successful, and I'm excited for her to be submitting her application and to actually shoot her first set. Immediately after I will be shooting a multi with her!!! I'm really excited for that, I've been wanting to do a multi set for a long time (and especially with my best friend).
Tonight she and I are going to a party together, so if you follow my instagram under the same username and keep up to date with my stories, I'm sure you'll see some cute masked fun with us!
I'm also VERY EXCITED to be informing you all that tomorrow I'll be going to Santa Fe with two other Hopefuls to help promote the Blackheart Burlesque show coming to Albuquerque March 7th!
I'm not only excited to be helping promote these lovely ladies along side some other lovely ladies, but excited to be attending the show when it comes, as well! It's going to be so much fun to go and see these women doing something they love!
