Today we got caught in a mini flash flood. It started thundering a little, then all of a sudden we came out of Savers and it was dumping down rain, soaked in 45 seconds, separated from the bus stop by a lake, prohibited from crossing the intersection by an ocean, sad blue recycling bin floating down the middle of the street. I kept slipping around on my stupid platform hoochie flip flops, which made walking difficult and scary. And we had to walk for so long.
When we finally got back to the house I took a long hot shower and ate a pepper tofurky sandwich with horseradish on organic bread. It ruled.
