How interesting...
Boss goes away on vacation for a week. Boss says I'm now boss during that time. Now granted, this is largely a ceremonial thing, as the boss doesn't do much unless something goes boom and the rest of us can't fix it, or unless some new shiny hardware comes in. That's not what's odd, though.
My personality was a bit different today. I was (slightly) more confident, I was a bit more conscientious (this isn't a good thing where I work), and I started worrying about doing my job again. In theory, these are all good things. In fact, only one of them is.
The confidence is nice, but I think I can live without the rest of it.
