I've been feeling rather lonely lately, more so than usual. You probably know the drill. Single. Remembering what it was like not being single. Of course, only the good non-single memories come to mind. Of course.
When I'm in this mindset, I go trolling around through people's journals. Maybe I can post something insightful in some interesting person's journal. Maybe make a friend. Hasn't quite worked out all too well yet, but oh well.
I'm just starting to get more and more uncomfortable every day. I have virtually no social life any more. I want to get out and meet new people. Interesting people. People who might find me interesting. I'm interesting, I swear, it just takes me a bit to open up.

thanks for the reply. yeah, definitely seems we're in a bit of a similar mindset right now. part of my problem is i just spend too much time on here. that's not healthy. also, i get envious when i hear of all these people on here talking about how they found their current bf/gf here on SG or how they're already married or whatever and looking for someone else to add to the mix. it doesn't help that practically every woman on here is a top model....

Dude, if you need an alternate distraction, check out okcupid.com. It's totally free and as long as you have a good looking photo of yourself and a profile that shows your personality, you should be able to at least score a date. I went there, took a bunch of the personality tests, answered a bunch of the questions on my personal beliefs and then started messaging girls who interested me. I have gotten a crazy response! I went from the pit of no date hell to feeling like I'm juggling too many women in a week. I just had a lovely date with a girl tonight and I've got another with a different girl on Friday. I normally SUCK at meeting girls!
