I'm about to join the ranks of the Mac geeks by buying my first mac before the month is out.

I've been long considering using my work discount to nab a macbook for myself as a secondary portable but I've since been inspired to get one for use as a "creativity studio" of sorts, using it for high-end video and photo editing with programs I'm familiar with from college. I've got this setup in my head and it's going to be glorious!

It all boils down to a video project I'm starting work on that is currently in a super-secret development stage but also for the sake of more advanced picture editing than what I'm used to, so I can start work again with my DA site and call myself a photographer. Maybe I'll wear leather pants and red or purple-tinted glasses to sell the artist look? Time will tell.

Al I need now is my own two-bedroom (for the "office" I'm planning) and ten grand, and all will be excellent. Donations?
