Three things I learned from my work xmas party:
1. I look damn fine in a suit.
Bought new slacks and a jacket for the party and decided wearing a tie would be complimentary.
2. I really need a new camera.
As good-quality as my phone is at taking pictures around the house or with friends, a dimly-lit bar/restaurant/club thing means I have to play with the flash (yes, my phone has a flash) far too often, and the resulting image comes out needing heavy editing. I don't even think I can use any of these...
3. Beer doesn't really affect me.
I lost count of the number of tall glasses of beer I drank because it was an open bar, yet I felt amazing the next day. Sure, I had following the day off. Sure ... I couldn't get to sleep that night and had to be up at 5am the next morning for work and I was awake for over 30 hours collectively. But I didn't have a hangover.
I'll try to put up some pics if I can get my collection looking good or find any on facebook.
