Today started off with going to work at 5am, trying to get out by ten, so I could shower and change to go out for Mother's day. Enjoy spending time with the fam, eat some good food and share stories then go home and pass out.....needless to say, didn't happen.
Didn't leave work till about 10:30. So no shower, but still got all dressed up and spiffy looking. had the good time with the fam...but then decide to help my grandparents with their computer problem, should be an easy fix. so after some testing, the motherboard is fried.
This turns into an all day deal of computer shopping with my grandfather and my dad. After finding a suitable one with an lcd screen, we head back to set it up. Some several hours later and frustration over what password was used for what and explaining things countless times, and telling my grandfather "no, it's okay, I don't want your money. It's my job to help you out since I'm the youngest.", it's all set up and they're happy. Since they're happy, I'm happy, cuz I love my grandparents.
