Break me into pieces
And sort them out
Tag them and separate them
Study this thing I have become

I'm such a mess
Without the guidance I seek
But who should I follow
When everyone seems as lost as me

They say to trust in God
They say to have faith in his plan
They make it sound so simple
They never understand

How can I trust what I can't define?
How can I believe in something so great?
How can something so great ever relate to me?
How can a god know what it is to be so small?

I cannot trust you
I cannot love you
I cannot embrace your words
I cannot accept you now

You could never know the feeling of insignifigance as your own

Have you ever really lost something?
Have you ever been afraid?
Have you ever been this lost?
Have you ever failed yourself?
Have you ever lost control?
Have you ever been so wrong?


So where do you sit as we march along to the drums of war?
Killing in your name, blind faith and pain
So much hurt in the name of a god that cannot know
We do such things in your name...
And how could you ever know what it is to be like us?

Do you question us as we question you?
I must know you
For faith just is not enough
Bfore I can accept you
I must know you

But you are a puzzle I just can't solve.
