Decent weekend so far. My brother and his wife came down to visit. My brother is pretty rad. I had like a 2 hour conversation about working out and martial arts with him. H's a martial artsist himself which comes in handy since he's in law enforcement. I'm loking for a stle that would motivate me to get in better shape and teach me some practical fighting skills. I'm not the kind of guy that gets into fights or anything, hell my last fight was in the 8th grade...but still if I'm learning martial arts I want to learn something to help me actually come out on top in a street fight. He had some suggestions. It was helpful. My sister in law is great too, she's really nice. And of course, they brought my nephew, little Austin. That kid's a trip. I'm totally going to teach that kid about rock when he gets older. Rock and video games.
I found a car on auto trader that looked prety decent. This latino girl (who was pretty cute) wanted $3500 for a '99 Dodge Neon Highline. Went by to look at it tonight. Its in pretty good shape. The head gasket leaks a little according to my dad, but not much else is wrong. Honestly I tried for lower, but $3400 was as low as her dad would swing. So $3400 was what I settled on. So as of Tuesday, that baby is mine. I'll finally have a new car! Hurray for independece! Now I won't have to bug people for rides. This is awesome. So I and this cute latino girl are going to the bank to have matters taken care of, since she's selling the car to pay off a loan from the bank, and as it turns out we go to the same bank. Now I get to enjoy the fun of shopping for car insurance. That'll be fun.
