So the new year is hear. 2005 is upon us. i predict more of the same, but worse here, and even worse there...
Anyway I hope you enjoyed whatever you did for you new year's celebration if you did choose to celebrate. I did nothing, save for for lay around in my boxers and play Def Jam Fight for Ny all night on my PS2 after watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

. I'm not a partier...I don't drink, don't bother with drugs...I've never wanted to. Its just never been something that appealed to me. Since I don't relate to it, I don't relate to a lot of people my age and in my area because that's almost all they fucking do. Whatever though, I'll not get into why I don't do that stuff here...Some other time perhaps...Sufice it to say I feel I'm not missing anything. Anyway my night was boring enough, hope you enjoyed whatever you did.

So...had a conversation the other night with a girl I know....This one has a tendency to kind of flirt with me sometimes...Which is offputting for severeral reason which I will outline here:
A) She's almost 3 years younger than me
She's 18 now, I turn 21 next month...
B) I was intoduced to her as my friend's ex. I'm still friends with this guy, and I will NOT mess with a buddy's ex unless under certain conditions. Bros before hos people. Man's gotta have some honor.
C) She's a drama case. Very high maintenance, attention whore, lots of the baggage, and a history of lots of drug use. (Drugs are like a HUGE turn off for me. Like colossal)
D.) I can never tell if she's serious. I figure she isn't, but sometimes I kinda wonder.
E.) She's dating some guy. Not cool.

She's a cute girl, she really is. She has beautiful eyes. She's not stupid either, not at all, just a matter of common sense and craving attention and approval.
I got no problem being her friend, but I don't want anything else. Not at this point anyway. I don't really want a g/f anyway at the moment....too much trouble.

But anyway, she's saying she wants to go to Europe next summer. I'm like, "Right on that's cool." And she's saying she'd like somebody else to go with her. I'm saying its a good idea. It can be more fun and she'll have somebody to keep her out of trouble. But she doesn't know anybody who wants to go. So she asks me, who she doesn't even know that well, if I'd like to go with her, Seriously, I've only ever hung out with her in groups. She's an "acquaintence" friend. So that's a little odd.

I more or less declined politely and talked my way out of it. I dunno. I dunno. I think she likes me, but I'm not interested. Its just kind of weird. The women in my parts are well adjusted and bland or they're interesting and fucked up. *sigh*

Though going to Europe would be pretty cool. Its something I've thought about, but not that seriously. I'd like to go to the UK, to Scotand, to Ireland definitely, to Italy, maybe France, Germany, Sweden, anywhere that looks intersting. I want to go and broaden my horizons, encounter this crazy world. I'd like to "walk out the front door" so to speak. It is a cool thought. BTW, if you are European and reading this, where in Europe would you say the worst place to be an American is? If I ever go, I don't want to get treated like shit or killed or something.
