Hooray for 3 day weekends with gorgeous weather and no plans!
I made my to-do list for this weekend with a silver paint pen on a canvas I previously covered with neon pink paint. I think I'll hang this on the wall when I'm done with it.
Currently my two cats are sleeping on me and somehow not fighting, it's truly amazing. These fuzzy fleece blankets are like kitty opium * 1000. There is no way I'm getting this to-do list started for a good while. It's sad when I'm around lethal amounts of cuteness but there's no camera handy.
Later today I'll be mailing off my application for a trial membership to one of the BDSM play clubs in Chicago. In the absence of a mentor, I at least want to make a foray into such a place as a companion experience to the reading I'm doing. I ended up buying both 'The Loving Dominant' and 'Story of O' at Barnes & Noble on the way home from work last night. The Loving Dominant does appear to be excellent and packed with knowledge. I think it will be more of a reference than a read straight through book.
I also created a profile on fetlife and have already connected with a couple of the people I talked to at the munch. It's great to meet other open-minded, intelligent, perverted people!
I've been dragging my feet on uploading my test SuicideBoys set, since I think the photography was inferior along with other aspects of it. I'm a perfectionist all too often. But I figure I should just upload it and know it's imperfect, garnering suggestions and criticisms about other aspects such as sequencing, posing, facial expressions, etc.
