Mom and I went 50/50 on a set of solar lights, (well, 75/25, I got 4 out of the set of 16.) I had told myself that I wasn't going to worry to much about the little border area in front of my condo. I was just going to pull any weeds that pop up and not much more. After putting the solar lights out there though, it makes me want to fix it up. Now I am just waiting for dark so that the lights come on. In the meantime, I clipped some of the little bushes into a nice round shape, and was trying to get some of the larger rocks out of the soil. I am not sure what direction I want to go with it, part of me just wants to have a natural deep rich soil, which would mean tilling in some good topsoil into the clay that is there. On the other hand, I may want to go with a more zen garden stone ground cover, which I could put a weed barrier under, and would hopefully be less weed pulling than the bare soil approach. The less weed pulling would be a good thing, seeing as I am allergic to all that crap, but we shall see.

Allready have pre dark pics of the new lights, when it gets dark I will take more pics and post.
