Ok, so I just got done making out all my christmas cards, somebody remind me to take them to work this afternoon to mail them. So why is it that just when it is time to go back to work for my afternoon shift, I always feel like I really need a nap? Sure I've been up since 4:30 and all, but why can't I feel like taking a nap when I get home a liitle after ten instead of when I can't actually afford to take a nap because I have to leave again in a few minutes. Ah well, maybe I just don't really want to go back to work. Yesterday was crazy as expected. I think people hear on the news that it is supposed to be the biggest mailing day and they think they have to go to the post office that day. It's not like we were running a big sale like stores do the day after thanskgiving or anything. And there is still a bit of time to get cards and packages out. This morning was calmer though. So I figure the worst of it is probably over. Somebody remind me to put up my tree one of these days.

i can only imagine that working at the post office is even worse than working retail this time of year...
