Ok, so after 8 months, I have finally broken my sabbatical and got myself a job. (boo!...yes i know)
Im working as the office invoice manager for the UK's leading serigraphics firm.
In less bullshit terms, that means the company makes all those zillions of high street shop posters with "HALF PRICE SALE" etc etc. We are currently mass producing all the January sales signs.
My job is in the finishing department where all the packing and delivery goes on and I have to make sure the right number of stock gets sent out, and that all the right delivery notes get sent out, retreived and filed with the right invoice slip, both in the folder and computer, and to make sure all the zillions of deliveries have been signed and recorded by both parties so we can chase up if one goes astray. WAKE UP AT THE BACK!!!...Then I have to calculate all the delivery costs so as to help gain the true cost of each order.
Not too exciting, but its not dull and pays well.
