Happy Monday! Mine already started out rather interesting, I sent kids to the bus stop in freezing weather only to realize after 15 minutes that there is no school today.

Don't worry too much about feeling that you bit off more than you can chew regarding your grad school classes. It's admirable that you seek perfection with your grades. As long as you do your best, you're a success. At least that's how I see things. Hope you agree.

Your father sounds like the opposite of what I have become. I'm finding it difficult, if not impossible to motivate myself. I know that it's all about self pity and depression. It's one thing to recognize the problem, and it's another to get to where I can get myself to do something about it.

What's your reaction to the shoe thrower? I have no problem with the guy. After all, Bush invaded his country under false pretenses and has been responsible for countless deaths and destruction in this person's homeland. The fact that he missed is the real outrage.

I'd pointed out in a comment in his journal today, that although feeling an instant kinship with someone happens with a fair amount of frequency in The Real World, but on the Webernet it is much less frequent, and YOU were the one I put forth as the example of feeling that at-the-time-inexplicable-but-making-more-sense-later first-'meeting'-bonding.
Anyway, it made me have to confront missing you, Brother.
