And so it ends. After 6 weeks of rehearsals, panics, one recasting (almost 2), and a decent run (shame you missed it), Two Guys, a Couch, and the Fate of the World has come to an end. Sadly, I was not able to get nicely wasted at the cast party as it was at my parents' house and I always feel the need to stay sober to keep and eye on things. And lo, it was fun, though annoying in places... like the entire play experience in microcosm.

Meanwhile, this site seems determined to break me. In the last week, there's been new Gogo, Rin finally went live, then possibly set a record for shortest time between first set and first joint set (with the oh so fine Malloreigh, to add icing to the cake), then new Fractal, always a cause for celebration, new Lotus, somehow looking better than ever, and finally a video from James. Hochimama. Don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but that's a lot of goodness to pack in and there's only so many hours in the day...

As you may have guessed, when the show ends I seek out trivial pleasures to distract me from the hole that has opened in my life. This should be simple enough this time around, for three reasons:
1) I have my new laptop, which I intend to take for a test drive at work tonight.
2) The fall season is well underway. Already caught the premiere of Lost, though you can never have enough Lost; Desperate Housewives is tonight and Smallville returns Thursday. Somehow I'm most excited about Smallville, and I'm not sure why.
3) We start work on U-Boat of the Soul, like, next week, so this is my shortest gap in years.

Odd tidbit I noticed this week... my Favourite SGs (always a difficult process) have somehow become alphabatized. Didn't do it on purpose, just sort of happened. Well, I thought it was neat.

Well, the Moviedome won't run itself, so time I was hitting the ol' dusty trail... Peace out.
