Grooving to Avenue Q right now. It's a Broadway musical that's essentially Sesame Street for college graduates who don't know how the world works. I tell ya, it's hard to stay moody when you're listening to puppets sing catchy tunes about racism, shadenfreude, repressed homosexuality, and self-gratification, as it were. Actually, it's hard to type, as well... some journal comments got put on hold because I was too into "Fantasies Come True" to write them. Other favorites...

The temptation is to just type out lyrics, but now that I actually come to it, reckon I'll pass.

People have done great things with puppets for adults lately, and no, I'm not talking about Seed of Chucky. Unless you're into that, in which case, have at. No, I mean Greg the Bunny (available on DVD... I highly recommend it) or that episode of Angel (Smile Time) where Angel gets turned into a puppet. Sweet.

What, you were expecting something other than rants about puppets? So sorry, I'm sure.
