It's that time. Tomorrow morning, the family and I depart for sunny Cuba for a week. How've I done in terms of getting ready?
Quarter Century workshop: Done. Some very different views on how the script could/should progress from where it is now. With slightly over a year until I intend to even consider starting production, I figure I have time to mull them over.
Tyler and Selena workshop: Less so. I wanted to do that one as well, but time did not permit. So that'll be when I get back. Slightly more of a rush, as this one is probably getting done in August, but it's a little further along, so no worries.
Packing: I have a checklist this time. No way I forget my swimsuit an snorkel again this year. No way.
Camera: Have camera, have charger. We're all good.
Dramatic weight loss so that the pictures of me hurt less: Shit. Knew I forgot something.
Oil Blood Money from the Alberta Government: Got it, deposited it, blew it on a Mastercard payment. Fastest I've spent $400 in a while.
Well, nothing to do but ship out now. Be back in a week, try not to do anything exciting while I'm gone. Whitewidow, I'm looking in your direction.
