the gin is gone... gone... gone. yes. i think you might be right, lately i've been moving away from italics, breaking up stories with - or * or (...) the elipse is my favorite because it almost denotes action in between the action, its like the ellipse is when the main charcters are going to the bathroom, or masturbating or calling their mother.
