first of all, id like to thank everyone for all those birthday wishes!! i had a party in The Ice Bar with some close friends. kept it small this time. that was alot cheaper and alot easier to arrange and clean up! so now im even older. its not all that bad so far. im still as immature as i always was. its workin for me though.
anyway,... the 14th - through the 16th of this month is the Beer City tattoo convention in my town, Milwaukee. havent been hearing much about it at all so im wondering how its gonna turn out. either way, im gonna be there. im surprised though seeing tattooing was illeagle im milwaukee for about 30 some years. the ban was lifted about 5 years ago and this would be the first convention ever in milwaukee. i know a bunch of area shops are workin there (of corse im not), but havent heard much about other traveling artists. i did hear about the midget wrestling though. that should be amusing. so, if you are going to the convention, let me know so we can meet up and maybe cheer on our fav midgets.
this is my buddy aarons back. it will go all the way down eventually, but he wanted it to be at a presentable point for the convention. this was as presentable as i could do. the dragon in the upper right corner was one i did on him back in the day. aaron has been there sisnce day one for me. hes got a bunch of my early work on him all the way up to the newer stuff which is now adding on or reworking older stuff, like that dragon. i was really debating about covering it but it was still in there pretty good so i just redid it for him.
heres a sneak peek at thesacreds bedroom. still has a bunch of over spray and tape to get rid of and shit but its done. dont know why i put a link to his name,... he never comes on here anymore. anyway, ill get some better pics once he gets everything all cleaned up and moved in. its done with all paint rollers and airbrush. the room used to be white. took about a month to do but that was just workin on it here and there. he lives down the street from me.
so, a buddy is movin into a new place and, so we thought, a chair was left from the previous tennant on the porch. so bruder started eyen it up so i told him to "get it". so he did,....
,... he fuckin loved it!! wouldnt give up either. i kept lookin for staples or anything but it was all good. so bruder kept fuckin it up. my camera battery was goin so i couldnt take any more pics, but he fucked it up pretty good! growlin and everything. anyway, it turned out to be the buddy movin ins cousins chair he brought to sit on while he helped remodel the new place for him. he was pissed. but who can stay mad at bruder??? look at this lovable mug,......
on a sad note,... the 9th will be one year since Bumser was put to sleep. Bumser was Bruders brother that didnt make it past 4 and a half months. so, if you can, on sunday the 9th, rip up a piece of card board for my fallen homie! if he was still here, im sure that what he would be doin, he loved to tear that up,... well, i guess so does Bruder. just like his brother. well, heres a pic of good ol Starker Bumser!!
ok, im about done. my sleeping schedule is fucked so i gotta try to fall asleep sometime soon. i have to work tomarrow. have a good week, knuckle heads!
