the bud back won 2 awards, most unusual and large color. this was his first tattoo and first convention. he was pretty happy to win. very thankful guy. hes all pumped now to get more. he wants to do a whole back piece around the plant now. should be fun.


during the little celebration for winning awards for pot tattoos, we just had to do it with detroit in the background.

i had a good time as usual. always nice to see other motherfuckers tattooing for a change. looks so much different from the outside lookin in. especially when you are watchin the greats like guy aitchison, robert hernandez, bob tyrell, both kern brothers, and more.

got to meet ZOMBIEQUEEN, too bad we didnt get to chat much, pretty damn busy corner of the convention she was at. ran into Frankie for a minute while waiting on the unprepared service at the food court.

was hoping to meet more SG peoples but thats the way it goes sometimes. maybe at the milwaukee convention in oct. should be a good one.
