remember all the talk about bumsers operation going great?? well, that changed. he had his throught trimmed, basicly. well that is swelling and closing his throat. he can barely breathe. i have to constantly hold his head up so his airway is clear, then he falls asleep. his head bobs around somtimes, i have a feeling its cause hes always lifting his head, his neck must be super tired. i took him to the emergency vet last night. they wanted to keep him till the swelling went down. they were estimating about a week. i had to pay half of the estimate for a week stay on oxygen. half the quote was a few thousand dollars on top of the 300 dollar visit fee and on top of the 600 dollar sugery a few days ago. that had to be paid right then and there. i simply didnt have that. so he came home with me. ive been watching him and keeping him company. the vet was telling me there was a chance he wouldnt make it through the night. well, he did. not much for improvement all day today, so i hope i still have my buddy with me in the morning.
sorry to unload sad news on here, its all that on my mind. ive grown pretty attached to this little guy in the past few months.
