My life seems to contain more drama than I would like...
Band broke up because Bobby (long time friend/guitarist) said crank was taking over everything in his life and he can't do the band thing, and it's his band, and his style, and his music and how dare I think I could take it from him...fuck that shit. The Bobby I befriended long ago is dead, all that remains is the addict.
Here's the positive and exciting stuff. I Have two options for gigging:
1) My brother (drummer) and I will be able to play with an old bassist we know (Bass God by the way...) with an acousticish rock group out of SF
2) We audition for a cover band that will tour Indonesia in the hotel circuit. Expenses paid + pay...
If one falls through, well if the Asia gig falls through, then playing locally will be totally fine with me....less time away from Patty.
Then I need to find more income, so I may be driving tomato trucks for 4 months in the central valley....900-1100/week so I figure if I really need the cash I'll do it. Only downside is the weeks are 6-7 days and 10-12 hours a day...But it would be about 15000...so it's worth it if I need to.
If I've forgotten anything I'll update again soon.
Oh yeah, this is the acoustic band I will be adding some electric flavor to:

Sorry to hear about things. Meth is a huge problem here. I watched it fuck up my bestfriend. She seriously lost her mind. I hope your friend gets off the stuff

I can't believe your drink got spilled. I wasn't with anyone at the prom. I flew single. You really should have introduced yourself I would have loved to meet you. I kinda felt the same way, not too many people wanting to engage in conversation. I just got shit faced and left. It wasn't what I thought it would be. If you're in LA this week I'll be there.
