It looks like it works and it feels like it works



I've been getting up with the sun for the last week, and it's starting to feel normal. The best part is I have no reason to be up. I have no classes or exams, no job to go to or errands to run. I've just been waking up.

So now I'm figuring out how to start filling the day in. First of all I can't make too much noise in the morning (flatmates asleep), so that can be writing / computing time. By about midday it's safe to start making noise, so that's when I crank out the acoustic guitar and start making noise.

I've spent a couple of late afternoons having Sam play drum parts for the new demos that are now in the works. We got som prize money, which afforded us a microphone mixer so I could start taking advantage of the multitracking abilities of my computer. Be warned: shameless plugging of my mp3s coming soon.

Last Thursday evening I read my first news bulletin for Radio 1. I did my second at midday Friday. I'm now the 5pm newsreader on Tuesdays, which is cool cause my friend James hosts the show, so I can co-host in some sense. I've just been warned to make sure the news bulletin continues to get the respect it deserves.

Hmm, it was about people that drink bottled water and start acting like dogs and the model who is advertising the product has to save the day and there is a mad scientist who is doing the "flavouring" of the water who wants to put the secret ingredient into the water res to turn wellington into a petting zoo.
quite odd but lots of fun! b did the soundtrack.
