I was watching the midday news today (I'd just gotten up to talk to my landlord briefly, and was having my breakfast). Seem as I'm reading George Orwell's 1984 right now, and had just watched some news article recently about the biased Italian media or someshuch I had my mind focused on being critical (both "tending to find fault" and slightly "characterised by careful analysis?". So I had it in my mind that I'd launch into a tirade on propaganda tonight, based around the fact that Arabs seem to do everything as a group, while we westerners apparently act on our own, to the embarassment of our organisations/nations etc.

Then Anji told me to shut up, because that happens all the time and we should be used to it (which if I recall was what the Italians had been doing).

Now instead I have to write an essay by tomorrow afternoon; an essay which happens to be for a class called "Mass Media and Modern Politics." So I get to not shut up. Only I've decided to deal with the topic of technology's effect on the media, cause I already wrote one of media framing and they probably won't want me to do it again.

Will I get the essay done by 5pm tomorrow (it's 9:46pm now)? I should hope so, I have two more due next week. Lucky I haven't been brainwashed by going to class. It was a fluke I even knew that I had this due. I felt a little guilty that Blair was doing homework when I went into his room to borrow a John Lennon CD, so I thought I should do some work of my own (other than the dishes). This led me to have a look at my course readers.

I probably would have known if I'd gone to class today (or last week) but I hadn't finished my coffee. It wasn't actually very good coffee.

Power to you dude. Would love to read the finished article - sounds like it would be right up my alley.

yeah, you can tell people anything you want. don't forget to mention my carreer as a stripper! (not here though....I think over here old men are allowed to grab dancers' boobies. That would make me feel like somewhat of a prostitute. I couldn't handle it!)
