I believe, its about blog-thirty.
What a frickin week. Im doing good at this new job, but i feel like crap. Im doing everything correctly, but im just hard on myself. Im too self critical. I want to be working faster, doing better quality work, learning quicker. I always want to be at an almost unattainable level in everything that i do. Why do ten push ups when you should be capable of twenty? Why be less, when you could be more? Its just how my mind works, i just want the best out of me and when i dont achieve it I beat myself up. I know i gave 110% this week, but im still not hitting the levels i want to be at. Ill get there. Stronger, better faster or break.
Got a big weekend coming up. I can't believe im going to be 28. There was a point in my life i didnt think I was going to make it past 19. Its hard to think 30 is on the horizon. I dont feel like im in my late twenties, i still feel 22 and ready to run at life full force. I wonder what changes when you get older. Maybe you just get wiser, and than shit starts to break, and then you feel old. Only certain thing is im bound to find out in time.
I believe it'll be the piano bar tommorow night, bar hopping in Marina Del Ray Saturday and maybe a show late sunday night. Music booze and good company, recipe for a good birthday :-)
