In other news, I just found out last night that my son's big band will be opening for Wynton Marsalis next Friday! Not only that, but my son gets to dine with Wynton and his band before the performance. I'm so excited for him!
He's been playing trumpet for the last 7 years, and it is what he loves to do most. He hopes to make a career out of it, and he seems to be on his way.
Here is some video I took from a show they did last Halloween (which is why some of them are in costume). My son is the tall handsome fella on the top right.
