OMG, I just moved to L.A., too, about three weeks ago. I'm going to be at Miss Kitty's Parlor tonight (Google it), if you wanna hang out. I also frequent karaoke joints pretty often. And I cook vegan.

I've been to LA a fuw times, don't know my way around too good, but would love being lost with ya. I'll start hitch hiking to Cali.
