" I don't think you know what the word coward means," He said accusingly. His conversations usually didn't start this way, but most people are a little more respectful than his present company.
"What are you talking about?" The neutral response pairing exceptionally well with the blankly innocent look.
"Do I look like an idiot? You seriously expect to trash talk about me in the place I have been coming to for the last six years and not have it get back to me? You're either exceptionally dense, or you're exceptionally stupid." For those that knew him, this was a new side. A face that gets saved until every last bit of logical thought has expired. "And then you break into my room, steal my locking doorknobs, and take matters into your own hands, negating an agreement that was already made. Worse yet, I don't remember ever being asked to unlock, or remove my locks. Seems to me that you don't understand the meaning of the word you so unabashedly throw around."
"What's that supposed to mean? You're not making any sense."
"How could I be any clearer?! You Broke into my room, without even asking me to let you in. You specifically went out of your way to not talk to me, not request that I do something I was going to do anyway, and then change the front doors locks so that I can't get in to do it even if you did ask me. It seems to me that's what a coward would do."
"No way, you see I knew you wouldn't have unlocked them, anyway. You only left them on the door because you didn't want me getting in there." It was "logical" arguments like this that had driven our hero into a state of mind he had resisted for so many years.
"It seems to me thats the whole purpose of a LOCK!"
"Well, you were supposed to be moved out already."
"Again, I already had an arrangement made with my landlord, who if I remember correctly is your landlord, too. We determined that I was going to remove my locks from the doors when all of my moving was done. The last time I checked, that agreement was still in tact, and on top of that, the last I checked you were not the decision maker."
"Well, that doesn't matter because I needed to get in those rooms and you guys were supposed to be gone."
"I've already made my point against that argument, and now the simple fact of the matter is that you owe me seventy dollars for the locks that you destroyed."
"I don't have to pay you that, you should have taken those locks off already, you guys moved out."
"Apparently you have a comprehension problem. Let me put it more clearly. Give me seventy dollars, or I'll see you in court."

I'd like to thank the audience for participating in my imaginary theater. The dialogue you just read is a supposed transcript between myself and a burnt out waste of human flesh that used to be my room mate. The reason it never took place is because he conveniently was not at my previous house when I went to address the situation he created. The Title: "My how the tables of cowardice have turned."

How's everyone else doing?
