Sometimes the things which seem the most difficult, the most overwhelming if handled with a certain amount of grace and focus, can turn out to be great gifts . It is certainly true that adversity introduces a man to himself.

I have had an incredibly stressful week. Luckily, I am blessed with a small network of supportive, intelligent, funny friends, who never candy coat their opinions and almost always have something constructive to say...whether it's one well placed sentence or a complete novella of insight...they always pull through with wit and compassion. For this, no amount of gratitude can even the scale. It is only by acting with similar kindness that we are able to continue the dance of genuine friendship.

So many people have touched my world with their strength and creativity that I consider myself unusually blessed...and I for one, would like to say LOUDLY to the universe...
