Anyone else suffer from an anxiety disorder?
What it seems like to someone who doesn’t experience it:
You’re overreacting.
You need to calm down.
Just breathe.
You’ll be fine.
You’re weird.
Why don’t you go out more?
OMG you have problems.
Can’t you just...why don’t you just...
You’re a dick/bitch.
You’re just looking for attention.
What it actually feels like:
Can’t breathe.
Cant deal with large crowds of people.
It’s not a switch you can turn off.
Goes hand in hand with depression.
Your chest feels tight like you’re having a heart attack.
Causes you to emotionally shut down.
Can make you socially awkward.
Your heart races.
You get nervous sweats.
Just thought I’d share a bit. There’s a lot of judgmental people out there lately, so if you suffer from anxiety, just know that you’re not alone 🤘🏻❌🤘🏻
