knowing my escape is imminent (july) makes working that much more bearable. i can smile, knowing that in the back of my mind, i will soon be leaving that miserable place.
but, i have a problem...
since the trip had to be pushed back, it is cutting close to the time when i have to go up SF. Now, if i tell my job this, they may just decide to fire me, therefore, i won't get my earned vacation pay, saying that i'm not vacationing, but quitting. i don't know how likely this is, considering vacation is earned, and is usually paid when you leave. however, i am a temp.
i could just pretend i'm going on vacation, wait until the check clears my bank, then quit. but i don't like playing the game like that. It lacks respect.
I could come back, work the week or so between and then leave, but why the hell would i want to do that? I wouldn't actually work.
the guy from the gym is still calling me. he must be in love.
if i bought an off the rack abercrombie shirt for 30 bucks (i assume that is how much they are) does that make me cool. Especially considering that same shirt is available in all a&f stores.. worldwide, AND on the internet. A shirt that anyone and everyone can wear

these "artists" who can't make ART aren't artists. if you tell me that you only shoot women, "because they are art", i have to question your credibility. you should be able to find the art in a man, and if you can't you aren't trying hard enough. (not people who prefer shooting one gender or another, but people who say that there is art in one place and not another)
artists have made art out of smashed trees, nouns and adjectives, big ugly rocks, fat hairy people, soda cans.. etc...
if are a recording "artist" or aspiring, and you tell me that recording artist X needs to go back to the style of their old album, i have to question your credibility.
if you tell me that outkast's new shit is weak and they need to go back to ATLiens, i have to question you. ATLiens was a great album, but... gee, they did ATLiens already. if they did it again, i bet you would complain that they did ATLiens again.
Evolve your art. don't duplicate it.
