Kodak digitals. I'm not familiar with the consumer variety, but the pro models absolutely whup the llama's ass. I've tried other manufacturers and I've researched still more, and I am jonesing for a Kodak Pro SLR/n. 13.8 MP. ISO of 6-1600. 512 MB buffer. and on and on... to the price tag of $5k. Damn!

I just go to each manufacturer's site and look for the flagship model. I consciously ignore most of them. I've been a Nikon user for years so I head there first. I'm not going to be able to afford that Kodak (before something else comes out to replace it!) so I'll probably go with the D70 or D100 if I can get the moolah together. I do look at Fuji and Kodak, though, because they both offer SLR models I can use my Nikon lenses with. Canon does not. And it seems to me that Canon's prices are inflated. This is probably due to the demand. I'm speaking of the 1Ds, I think it's called. Anyway, I wonder if they discuss this sort of thing in the photo board...

The staggering number is 26%. If people would just get it together and even vote "none of the above" they'd throw the country on it's ear. . . if the results got reported, that is, or if the polls didn't "overload".
