Thank god for the upcoming Bad Religion shows next month. After this week, I fully deserve them, and will feel no guilt whatsoever that I bought tickets for 2 shows. Not that I really did... but it was a good chunk of change.
If one of your parents is going to die and leave everything to you, make sure you are the one who gets to do the dealings. It's been over 2 months since the (ridiculously low priced, might as well have given it away) sale of my dad's house, and my aunt, who is the executrix of the estate is taking her sweet damn time with it.
Just like she did with the original insurance money.
This is what happens when someone with no personal stake gets involved. She let the house sell for around $85,000, when just two doors down a house sold for almost double that. Now, his house was falling apart, granted, but the bitch just jumped at the first offer that came in.
Which is pretty fucking weak, friends and neighbours.
