I am the master at last minute costumes. Last year it was a murdered prom queen and the costume was only 21 bucks, including the brand NEW prom dress (found a going out of business store) and a knife and the tiara. And that was only 2 days before the big day..
Now with the pirate palooza looming in 1 day, I still hadn't found a pirate costume. So I went to Target (looking for something else entirely), and ended up finding a " Taven Lady " (aka Bar Wench)costume for 14 dollars. It's basically a nylon ankle length dress with a velvet knee length vest that goes on top, with a pair of my black pointy toed boots, and a pair of leggies underneath for warmth, I'm off to the party tomorrow night and I will be in theme with all the rest of my co-workers. Thank god, because I know that it's important to dress up for a halloween party.
Time to go catch some Z's. Later.

I got ya beat! My last minute costume this year was a Motorhead mask.......got it the night before the big day and it only set my back $13!
