Ah Saturday....I woke up this morning at 4am and was playing Words with Friends with a dear friend of mine for the next hour or so....I don't think she thought I would be awake, but lately, I've been waking up at weird hours of the night. I don't think it's insomnia, but usually when I wake up, she's awake too, and we play for a bit before she goes to sleep (she works swing shift) and I either take the remainder of my night's sleep, or get ready to go to work.
Being unable to sleep at 6am, I logged on here to browse around and comment on a few group posts...I'm somewhat random, so there definitely is no consistency.
After taking a nap and waking up at 830, I decided, ok, time to change my oil and run a few errands before going to work for a few hours....
I got everything ready to change the oil, and pulled my car into the driveway, only to go and realize that my oil filter was missing. I tore the house apart looking for it before coming to the conclusion that it was discarded when the front porch area was cleaned. Total bummer. I went to Kragen to buy a new one, only to get distracted from buying a simple 7 dollar filter and bought 45 bucks worth of crap. Frickin item placement, oy!
I came back only to realize that after draining the oil, the bastards at the car dealership tightened the oil filter cap all the way and I wasted an hour of my life trying to open the damn thing. Eventually I gave up, and just filled new oil, then went about running errands the rest of the day, including washing the shit out of my front bumper and hood to get rid of the bug juice that I accumulated during my excursion to Laughlin.
All in all, today was pretty productive. My friends were giving me shit and making fun of me for my numerous checkins on Yelp, since I was all around town.
