Damnit, not quite the revelatory wonderyness I was hoping for... But pretty damn cool nonetheless. (Anyone want to buy me free cable? 56k suckses.)
When I signed up for this place I was having a confront-my-personality evening. It turned out an amazing success... Went to a party on Saturday night at which there were about 30 musical people and I was able to just talk easily to any of them, when alcohol'd or green'd or whatever. (I used to suffer from awful paranoia; it appears to have gone.)
Then a pot luck afternoon/dinner/drinks/full moon thing at a hippy flat.. again, easy to talk to everyone, easy to be myself and engage absolutely anyone. Happy, friendly people, on top of a hill on Wellington's beautiful south coast, drumming, guitaring, and singing the sunset, and then the moonrise.
I got a girlie's phone number too, and we're having lunch tomorrow
