Well, lots of big updates for me tonight.
1. As some of you found out on Sunday, I am in danger of losing my home. My family and I have to come up with $5000 by January 8th, or we lose the house. We did get a certified letter in the mail from the mortage company the other day, I wonder if it's about the hardship letter my dad sent them?
2. I am fighting off a cold. Nothing like being sick for the holidayz. (Seems like the story of my life!)
3. The International Library of Poetry contest has ended...I was a finalist....and the suspense is fucking KILLING ME! The $1000 monthly prize isn't important to me, but what is important is the fact that my poem will be published, and that I was a finalist to begin with! Not bad for someone who never wrote a poem, until he signed up on here.
Ok folksies, time to take a couple of swigs from the decanter of Nyquil, and call it a night. If I find out tomorrow what I won in the contest, YOU guys will be the first to know. Why? Because I consider you all, each and EVERY one of you, a friend, and more importantly than that, a brother or sister that I've never had.
